Iinii Insights
Moytoyi means spring in Blackfoot. The Spring equinox on March 20th will mark the first day of the season, bringing with it promises of new life, growth, and transformation. Na'a (Mother Earth) will begin to wake up and our non-human relations will share seasonal teachings for us to learn from. If we are wisely aware, we will notice ducks returning during the next lunar cycle; this is sa'aiki'somm (duck moon).

Bus Safety
At Niitsitapi Learning Centre, we want every bus ride to be safe, respectful, and positive. All students are expected to follow CBE Transportation Guidelines and the Student Code of Conduct.
Students must stay seated, keep hands and feet to themselves, use kind words, and follow the driver’s directions. Respecting others and taking care of the bus helps make every ride enjoyable for everyone.
When expectations aren’t met, students may receive a warning, a call home, or a temporary loss of bus privileges. By working together, we can ensure that every bus ride is a safe and respectful experience.
Please take some time to review NLC Bus Expectations with your children to help ensure a safe ride to and home school.
